The new metallised film underwent recyclability testing by the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging through Interseroh+, a leading German certification body that works with the European community to set recyclability standards. This metallised film has obtained the recyclability certificate with the 'Made for Recycling' label, achieving an excellent result. Below you can download the relevant certificate nr 2903.

Eco-sustainability

Our metallised single-material recyclable film packaging is suitable for any food product. It guarantees optimal storage for more than 6 months at room temperature or below and can be heated up to 70°C for up to 2 hours or up to 100°C for up to 15 minutes. In addition, in cooperation with the Italian Espresso Institute (IEI), the packaging's reliability was tested: some pouches, containing coffee, travelled in Korea subjecting themselves to extreme changes in pressure and temperature. The results revealed the material's ability to preserve the product's original sensory profiles.

In order to always guarantee maximum protection for your products, paper and aluminium pouches cannot have windows. Plastic films, on the other hand, can have windows of any shape and size.

On which materials can I create a window for my pouches?

Our pouches can be heat sealed with no risk to materials. Just use an impulse, ultrasonic or heat sealer, even at low temperatures! You can also equip them with a practical reclosable zip that extends the life of the pack, even after the first use.

How do you close Packstyle pouches?

Our flexible packaging is laboratory tested to preserve food for an extended time at room temperature or below. Compatible with the qualities of the product and its perishability, our pouches provide protection for more than six months.

How long can I store my food in your pouches?

Yes of course, you can vacuum pack your product with all our materials.

Can I vacuum pack with your pouches?

Defining the specific weight of each product is very difficult. In order to carry out filling tests, we recommend that you request a free sample pack.

How many grams of my product can I put in a Packstyle bag?

Yes, thanks to the multi-graphic service you can print up to 100 copies multiplied by all the graphics you need. To be eligible for this service, the total number of your pouches must be at least 100 and the pouches must be in the same format, as well as being of the same material and finish.

I need to print several pouches with small graphic variations. Can I do it with Packstyle?

The degassing valve is a small accessory that allows the gases produced naturally by the coffee to escape from the pack. Its purpose is to prevent the packaging from swelling, giving the impression that your food product is no longer edible and safe. The valve, being one-way, does not allow external gases and moisture to pass through the EVOH barrier and ruin your coffee.

What is the purpose of the degassing valve?

Yes, of course, you can. Just do not apply the white background colour and print directly on the aluminium. Please note, however, that with this solution, the yellow may give a golden effect and other colours may undergo slight iridescent/metallic variations.

Can I achieve a metallic effect using the aluminium material?

We do not carry out print tests, but you can always test the performance of your graphics by placing a small order of 50 pieces.
